Mike Dürst from Zurich, an employee of a record company, is heartbroken: his girlfriend is pregnant by her ex. He therefore seeks advice on the radio show of Gregor Frank, a psychologist from Berlin. However, Gregor is also in a crisis: he is under pressured by his publisher to deliver his planned new guidebook soon. In addition, his girlfriend, the pilot Christina Berger, suspects him of constantly cheating on her. After an initial heated argument, Gregor promises the unlucky Mike to find his dream woman for him within five days if Mike helps him write his book, in which he is to serve as a “study object”. The deal is struck, Gregor's book is christened Handyman, and the two become friends. Thanks to the tips of the womanizer Gregor, Mike soon meets an attractive female pilot, whom he henceforth calls “Heidi”. However, the two friends have no idea that Mike's beloved is none other than Gregor's girlfriend Christina...
